Committee Progress Email Report
The goal of this specific assignment was to create a successful informal internal progress report according to a hypothetical description from our text book.
In this case the hypothetical situation was based on physicians from a hospital that were facing being reappointed for committees. In this assignment I was a Medical Staff Administrative Assistant at Lubbock Caring Hospital. I was writing a memo notifying the Hospital Director about work that I had already completed and work that I had scheduled to complete regarding the reappointment of committees project.
The assignment called for an email that included all of the information given in the exercise in the textbook. The email was supposed to contain all of the basic goals of an informal internal progress report.
I was to think about how to organize the information clearly and what my potential audience would need from this report. Also, how to meet those specific needs that my audience requested very effectively.
Finally, the Committee Progress Email Report taught me how to successfully write an informal internal progress report. I learned the basic goals that an informal internal progress report needs in order to be effective. Most importantly, I learned how to meet special needs that my audience requests effectively.
