After planning a rough layout of our “Feasibility/Recommendation Report,” this assignment helped us figure out where exactly we were in the progress of our group project. This was the first progress report, of two, that we had to report to Dr. Art Fricke.
Written individually as a memo, each of us had to clearly describe the current state of our group project. Each of us also had to describe the current state of our own individual sections of the project. Our goal was to create an effective progress memo report to help Dr. Art Fricke understand the state of our group project. We had to keep in mind who our audience was and what our final report document goal was trying to achieve. Again, we had to clearly and fairly describe what each group member had accomplished thus far. Lastly, we had to describe future plans and what each group member would accomplish in the final weeks of our group project.
After completing our memo reports, my group and I gathered all of them into one collection and turned them in. Dr. Art Fricke would look over them and then meet with us again to give us valuable feedback that would help us continue working on our group project.
