Mowing Proposal Report

This was the first assignment that really took up a good amount of time for me to do. Not because it was difficult, but because you had to include various parts of information. This assignment’s purpose was to plan a successful solicited formal proposal report. Again, we were to base it off of the assignment description from our textbook which was to propose mowing services to a local golf course, highway medians, and parks in Augusta, Oregon.
In order for my proposal report to be detailed, I needed to make up a substantial amount of information. That is, come up with my own company name, services that my company offered, prices, and images of the different types of mowing tools and tractors that my company owned. The main goal of my proposal was to create an effective formal proposal report that effectively responded to the solicitation given in the exercise description. Therefore, I had to convince the town officials of Augusta, Oregon that I was the best contractor for the job regardless of the price I quoted to them.
I formatted my proposal report so that it appeared clear and professional. I also had to think about how to organize all of my information logically, which challenged me. The biggest focus I had to think about was how to appeal to my audience because if my proposal did not achieve that, then I did not meet the goal of the proposal report.
